Girls Who Code was founded with a single mission:
to close the gender gap in technology. "When girls learn to code, they become change agents in their communities. Whether it’s a game
to illustrate the experience of an undocumented immigrant or a website to provide free college prep, our girls create technology
that makes the world a better place." Reshma Saujani is the Founder and CEO of Girls Who Code. In a Girls Who Code Club,
girls will work on a Computer Science Impact Project, using computer science to solve a problem relevant to the Club and community.
Through this project, girls will learn the Core4 computer science concepts that form the basis for all computer programming languages.
